Who am I?
Welcome — I’m Furdeuce Mused, a recent graduate of California College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Literature. My work spans fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and editorial projects, all grounded in a deep belief in the power of language to move, shape, and connect us. I’m driven by the craft of storytelling — bringing ideas to life and exploring how narrative builds meaning.
This portfolio offers a curated glimpse into the stories I’ve told, the inquiries I’ve pursued, and the projects still unfolding. These include my senior thesis, Seeing The Unseen, a YA psychological thriller novel, as well as Midnight Feast, a children’s book. I also explore critical and literary theory through academic research, with papers such as Exploring the Complexity of “Cute” Culture: From Media to the Sexualization of Women, Interlinked Through the Study of Literature: Augustine and Anandavardhana, and Entertainment: The Theory of Aphra Behn.
Through both creative and analytical work, I strive to blend imagination with insight. I’m eager to contribute to meaningful freelance and editorial projects — and always open to collaboration that challenges and inspires.
